10th Annual Conference - Tentative Schedule

Below is the tentative schedule for the 10th annual GDUC conference and AGM. We are planning to end at 11am on Sunday, September 27th in order to facilitate travel arrangements, allowing Toronto- and southern-Ontario-bound attendees to catch the 12:20 Via Rail departure from Ottawa.

A drop-in welcome social will be held in the hospitality suite from 7:30 to 10:00pm on Friday evening. This is an informal opportunity for attendees to get to know one another before the conference on Saturday and Sunday.

9:00 - 10:00 Introduction and housekeeping announcements, minutes from the prior AGM, and executive annual reports
10:00 - 11:30 Workshop: The Right Way To Travel
11:30 - 12:00 Free time to visit the exhibits
12:00 - 1:30 Lunch
1:30 - 2:30 Workshop: Panel discussions with representatives of guide dog training schools
2:30 - 3:00 Free time to visit the exhibits, as the meeting room is set up for the next workshops
3:00 - 4:00 Workshop: T-Touch for your guide dog's health and well being
4:00 - 5:00 Workshop: Grooming: an exploration of techniques, tools, and 'dog gear'
